From a typical I-can’t-eat-in-the-morning kind of girl, I changed into an I-am-not-leaving-the-house-without-breakfast kind of woman. I am Lindsay a daydreamer living in the Netherlands. I am addicted to oatmeal cookies with peanut butter and love to experiment with all different types op breakfasts.
What started as a clumpsy creature in the kitchen, trying to not burn down the house, turned into a love for baking and cooking. Since that moment, creating different types of breakfasts became my favorite occupation. All day every day.
But why breakfast? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day for me. I can not function like a kind human being without a good cup of black coffee and a little breakfast party. Anything is possible for breakfast. Really taking my time in the morning to eat and to give my body the right nutrients it needs, gives me the feeling I can conquer the world. That is exactly the kind of superwoman feeling I need in the morning. There is no better way to start the day.
All the recipes on this blog are gluten-free. In 2011 I got diagnosed with Celiac Disease and at first it was really a challenge to turn my life around. To replace gluten-containing products and to create a varied and healthy lifestyle. Hopefully I can inspire others to create a healthy and diverse breakfast, because everyone deserves a good start of their day.
